Collection: Kani Weave

KANI, a small wooden spool in Kashmiri, is used to weave Kani Shawls, taking 3 to 36 months. The fabric features intricate motifs like flowers and paisleys, created with twill tapestry and double interlocking techniques. Crafted traditionally from pashmina wool, the fabric may use over a thousand bobbins. This heritage weave is an heirloom treasure.
